JoPACC collaborates with Injaz to increase financial awareness among school students

-

JoPACC collaborated with Injaz as part of their skill-building and entrepreneurship program, which aims to empower youth economically and socially and increase their resilience. JoPACC offered financial awareness sessions to over 1500 school students from schools across the kingdom, with the attendance of their parents and schoolteachers, to build the financial skills of students and acquaint with existing financial services in Jordan.

The awareness sessions introduced the evolution of money, the types of financial institutions in Jordan, and the types of financial accounts highlighting bank account and mobile wallets. Moreover, the sessions covered digital payment services and specifically highlighted how purchases of goods and services can be made using digital tools and channels. The sessions were interactive in nature, and students asked many questions to understand the requirements of opening financial accounts and their various use cases.

One of JoPACC’s strategic pillars is centered around knowledge production, dissemination and awareness-raising, and JoPACC is committed to spreading financial awareness among all society segments and all age groups to increase financial inclusion and drive a digital economy in Jordan.
