JoPACC also upgraded the JoMoPay system (the Jordan Mobile Payment Switch) to the same messaging standard (ISO 20022), enabling sending and receiving transfers between mobile wallets and participating banks.

How It Works
Participating banks on CliQ, who have successfully tested and launched the service and offer it in compliance with CliQ’s Operating Rules, have integrated CliQ services into their mobile banking apps. First-time users are required to register to the service by defining their alias(s) using their mobile banking app, which could be a name, their mobile number, or an email format on which they desire to receive money.
The alias feature expedites conducting transactions, saving users the time and complexity of entering an IBAN or an account number when making transfers.
